Sample Bequest Language
You can include a bequest in your will or living trust to leave a lasting gift. Here are examples of common language you can add:
Specific Bequest:
“I give, devise, and bequeath to Pachamama Alliance (EIN 94-3249793, P.O. Box 29191, San Francisco, CA 94129) $__________.”
Percentage Bequest:
“I give, devise, and bequeath to Pachamama Alliance (EIN 94-3249793, P.O. Box 29191, San Francisco, CA 94129) ___ percent of the residue of my estate.”
Residual Bequest:
“I give, devise, and bequeath to Pachamama Alliance (EIN 94-3249793, P.O. Box 29191, San Francisco, CA 94129) all or a portion of the remaining balance of my estate after all other bequests are made.”
