RESILIENCE AND POSSIBILITY

Jeremy Lent

The next Resilience and Possibility in These Times conversation will feature author, speaker, and systems thinker Jeremy Lent. At a time when division, collapse, and power struggles dominate the headlines, Jeremy highlights a deeper pattern at the heart of reality—one that is interconnected and alive with reciprocity. He shows how orienting to that pattern can become a daily compass for wise, grounded action.

About the Call

Jeremy Lent joins us as he prepares to release his new book Ecocivilization: Making a World that Works for All, coming out in May.

He exposes the story of separation, domination, and control as spiritually hollow and scientifically out of date. Deftly drawing on neuroscience, ecology, systems theory, and Indigenous wisdom, he shows that contemporary science affirms what many traditions have long taught: life is relational, meaning arises from relationship, and well-being is inseparable from the health of the whole.

Jeremy offers meaning without magical thinking, integrating rigorous evidence with spiritual insight. Join us for an exploration of how we move through despair into midwifing an ecological civilization.

About the Speaker

Jeremy Lent is described by The Guardian as “one of the greatest thinkers of our age.” He writes about the deep stories shaping our civilizational crisis and the possibility of an ecological civilization, weaving systems science with wisdom traditions in books like The Patterning Instinct and The Web of Meaning. As founder of the Deep Transformation Network, he helps people who feel the metacrisis in their bones find grounded pathways toward a life affirming future.
